How I work

TUNE UP:

My objective in partnering with a new client is to create a model for your “true self” that we then use to analyze the challenges facing your life. Using a combination of metric assessments and one-on-one conversations, I feel out the individual qualities that operate in concert to create your unique self. These “ways of being” are completely distinctive to you, and come with their own strengths and weaknesses.  Your commitment to UPWARD – INWARD is about being open to the relevance that your innate and inimitable personality had in shaping your past, and has in affecting your future.

It isn’t just about talking and listening. Working with a coach still takes a lot of work. By coming to a complimentary introductory meeting, you will be taking the first step. The next steps will involve a fair amount of trust, disclosure, honesty, and, yes, homework.

Typically I meet with clients in low-distraction environments, which can range from my private office to various other locations that make sense for both of us. We will speak early on in our process about the steps that I am going to suggest, the number of weeks from start to goal, and go over the course outline. The cost of coaching will be completely transparent and will be based mutually-agreed-upon set of goals.

The clients that I meet with who are the most successful have a few things in common. You fit the profile of an ideal client if you:

Are able to meet with me either in person or over the phone for a minimum of 45 minutes per week for at least six weeks.

Are motivated to see and direct change in your life

Are willing to learn new things and let go of old ways of thinking or behaving

Are committed to work toward a long-term solution, rather than a quick fix

Are a fan of working collaboratively

Love to learn about yourself
