Who am I?
On paper, I looked like a success. Married to my best friend for almost two decades, the father of two fabulous boys and with one on the way, my family life was ticking along. I had been self-employed for nearly 25 years, and business had never been better. I wasn’t very fulfilled at work, but I was making money and by everyone’s standards it was the “right thing to do”.
Then came the downturn in the world economy. I wasn’t making money, I wasn’t fulfilled and I found myself conceding as a CEO, allowing my clients to determine my agenda. I had to travel more and more, taking me away from my family. I received emails from “corporations” in a tone and nature that no one would ever take face to face with another person. Luckily my personal life was rock solid or I don’t know what may have happened.
In my heart I knew that I wasn’t living true to myself. The things that mattered to me the most had taken the back burner to the choices that seemed like the right ones. Compromise after compromise. It was good enough. Until one day, it wasn’t good enough.
There is no substitute for your soul. I wanted to live a passionate life that allowed me to use my strengths and take care of the people who were important to me – without sacrificing my values. But how to get there?
What happened next was a process, including several years of education and coaching to find out who I really am, and then to start living as my true self. It may sound corny, but isn’t that the dream we all have? To be able to say goodbye to our gremlins (those voices that tell us what we should do according to someone else’s values) once and for all? I researched hundreds of companies, and interviewed countless gurus. I analyzed personality profiles and really looked at my interactions with my family and my employees. I started flexing my empathy and intuition muscles while allowing my scientific background to identify the key elements that drive fulfillment.
The result was an enlightenment. An illumination. Not only was I fulfilled, engaged and passionate at work, but my personal life went to a higher level I never even thought possible. Now I want to share this enlightenment with you.
There isn’t a person out there who hasn’t wished that they could be happier. What I am offering you is the opportunity to do what it takes to be happier, through understanding yourself. Through learning how to stop compromising. Through becoming the best you possible. It might be in your relationships, or in your business, or in your job. It may be in your regrets or your fears about the future.
Come and see me. When you commit the time to really knowing yourself, we can make the happiness you are looking for a reality.
